Ministry Fair held highlighting ministries within the Church and welcoming new members. September 2015
Host Fr. Alonzo’s 10 year Anniversary Celebration - January 16, 2016
New Church Bazaar regime established for November 2016 Bazaar.
Create a Mission and Vision statement for St.Helen’s Parish. Published on parish web site January 2016.
Commence conversations on Stewardship and host Bob Heslinga to speak regarding topic. Mr. Heslinga’s first appearance was April 3, 2016.
Wrote support letters to the Bishop’s Cathedral Square project from council members and members of the various ministries.
By-laws updated to reflect current operating procedures for the council, January 2016.
Doors of Mercy 8 week teaching session May 12, through June 30, 2016 offered by Deacon Pat Abiles.
Hosted a mass in honor of Father Edson - August 7, 2016.
Apostles of the Word and Retreat held in Spanish and offered Monday through Friday – week of August 17, 2016
St. Helen’s Feast day celebrated with a Special Mass – August 18, 2016.
Pastoral Council donated sponsorship money toward the Church Annual Bazaar.
Held a “Noche de Mariachi” social event October 2016, to obtain funds toward our contribution to the Diocese’s Cathedral Square Project, to improve the area around the Cathedral.
Hosted our first Community “Thanksgiving Dinner,” November 2016. Meals were free to local community members. St Helen’s served approximately 300 meals, including those delivered to the homebound. All food and supplies were donated by parish and ministry members.

Setup a Suggestion box in the vestibule.
Create a quarterly Church calendar of regular and special events. First published in the January 2017 bulletin.
Stood up the very first instance of Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court at St. Helen’s of the Cross. January 2017.
